Announcing Beatrice & Martin by STARK

PHILADELPHIA, PA.  – STARK, the national luxury carpet and rug company, announced today its acquisition of Philadelphia floor covering company, Beatrice & Martin, Inc. and the formation of a new brand, Beatrice & Martin by STARK. As part of the deal, STARK will merge its Philadelphia showroom with Beatrice & Martin, combining the region’s two leading floor-covering companies to offer a wider product line and a higher level of service and support to the Philadelphia design trade.

STARK’s established reputation for its tremendous assortment, exceptional quality and unique custom capabilities will be complimented by Beatrice & Martin’s exemplary customer service, industry expertise and unmatched knowledge of the Philadelphia area. In combining the best components of both businesses, Beatrice & Martin by STARK will bring the Philadelphia market an unparalleled resource for rugs and broadloom carpet.

STARK will move from its current showroom in the Biddle Building and into the existing Beatrice & Martin space within the Philadelphia Design Center at 1100 Ludlow Street, Suite 401, Philadelphia, PA 19107. To accommodate the move, the showroom will close on December 30^th and reopen as Beatrice & Martin by STARK on January 4, 2021. The 3,400 square foot Beatrice & Martin by STARK showroom will enable STARK to best showcase its exclusive carpets and rugs, as well as many other broadloom and rug resources. Additionally, the full-service showroom will offer STARK’s unique custom abilities, product selections, estimating and full-service installations, and serve as a welcoming environment for designers to use for presentations.
