Q: What is your approach to stair runners?
A: "Rugs play a fundamental role in the spaces we design. A signature of mine is a colorful stripe or large pattern on a staircase. It’s the perfect way to incorporate a playful pattern or color palette without committing to it too much."
Q: What guidelines do you follow when it comes to rug size?
A: "My general approach is “bigger is better” to avoid too many floor transitions.Plus, rugs insulate your spaces and promote good acoustics. Rug size and shape can dictate the room's floor plan and traffic flow, so it’s imperative to incorporate the rugs early in the design process."
Q: How important are quality and durability in a rug?
A: "Durability has become an expectation of clients. I find myself constantly pulling from STARK's extensive collections when kids, pets, and outdoor elements are a priority."

Q: How do you make a carpet style truly your own?
A: "I love having the ability to cut and serge endless patterns of STARK carpet into the exact size needed and mixing in "one of a kind" pieces here and there."
